What's it about

O Teri is a situational comedy that uses elements of political satire to weave an engagingly funny story! PP (Pulkit) and AIDS (Bilal) are two news reporters in the desperate hunt for a breaking story. Their boss Sarah Jane Dias issues them a stern warning about getting her a big scoop or they stand the chance of losing their job. Unknowingly the two land up in a situation where they have to deal with a dead corpse that is part of a bigger nexus between a media house baron and some politicians. As the film progresses we get to know about this nexus and the scam that follows. Pulkit and Bilal manage to not only expose the corruption seeping into the system but also entertain us with some funny gimmicks.

What's hot

The film spoofs several popular things from our culture. There is a ginger shaped Ganesha that drinks milk, an astrologer that predicts yes or no but is actually a dog, or the characters that are referenced from real political set up. Its clear that the writers have referenced to the Common Wealth Games and most of the characters are based on the key accused. Bilal and Pulkit have an amazing chemistry. They manage to tickle your funny bone with their antics. Also the fact that both of them are good looking helps! The songs are beautifully picturised and Alvira and Ashley's styling  is top notch making the film look immensely fresh. The climax has a positive social message that comes across subtly without seeming over the top. Also the film is under the two hour mark so you come out without feeling burdened. Iulia Vantur's item song looks stunning on the big screen.

What's not

Bilal has scope for improvement. Since its his first film he needs to work a lot on his dialect and screen presence. The songs could have been better edited and some of them weren't needed in the film. Also too many cooks spoil the broth, we wish the director wouldn't have introduced us to so many characters early on.

What to do

If you are looking for a good laugh and non stop entertainment, then O Teri is your ticket to a paisa vasool experience!
