Shaan and Mika happen to share the same name, Balwinder Singh. They are two different personalities. While Mika is born and brought up in Ludhiana; Shaan is from Patiala and apart from their name the only thing common between the two is their dream to become famous. But the question arises, how the two will get famous as both are not financially secure and stay in a rented house in a basti (slum). Co-incidentally, a rich millionaire Udyogpati Rai Bhadhur Singh ( Anupam Kher) happens to be looking for his long lost grandson, whose name happens to be Balwinder Singh. When the news breaks out that Rai Bhadhur Singh is in search of his lost grandson, both the Balwinder Singh's from Patiala and Ludhiana aka Balu see an an opportunity to become rich and try to prove that they are the real Balwinder Singh.

The rest of the story goes on to reveal, Who is the real Balwinder Singh? And will Shaan and Mika finally make their dreams come true?

Acting :

Not only as singers but also as actors, both Mika Singh and Shaan do full justice with their acting skills. This film is no less than a big film as a launch pad for them in Bollywood. Whereas the supporting star cast Rajpal Yadav, Asrani and Vindu Dara Singh will surely make you laugh with their one liners and dialogues. What we love the most was Mika and Shaan donning female avtaars in the film.

Mika, who’s produced the film has made sure that he gives some great music for this film. From Mein Tera Hoon to Kenny Ji the songs are fabulously picturised and will surely make you groove when it's played.

Although the first half is entertaining and full of humour, the second half is a bit slow but picks up towards the end.

Some of the best dialogue we liked were:

“Dusre show ka waqt huva hai, warna hum toh Jhande Gaad Dete”

“Reason sahi ho toh season change hota hai”

“Shaan's trademark line in the film is “Kardi na chotee baat”

Till the end the audience is hooked to their seats to know who the real Balwinder Singh is?

However, a song like Shake That Booty' shouldn't have been played at the end with credits.

Our take-

This films is a clean family entertainer and you will surely go back home smiling. We would advise you to watch the movie if you want to have a good laugh.
