Warrant issued against Sanjay

According to reports, a local court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against actor Sanjay Dutt. The warrant was issued after Sanjay Dutt failed to appear in a Andheri court in connection to a criminal case filed by Bollywood producer Shakeel Noorani.    Previously, Shakeel Noorani had alleged that Sanjay Dutt threatened him. Noorani is involved in a financial dispute with the actor and had alleged that he is being threatened by underworld on Dutt's behest. Noorani seeks damages to the tune of Rs 2.03 crore from the actor for abandoning his film Jaan Ki Baazi. He had also alleged that Sanjay Dutt had not given dates for shooting as a result of which the film was incomplete and he had to suffer losses of Rs 1.53 crore.    The apex court had recently given Dutt a grace period of four more weeks to surrender in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case. The actor, who is busy wrapping up his pending films in hand, will now surrender in May to complete the remaining prison term. Now, in what may spell more trouble for the actor, a Mumbai court today issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against him.
