Sunny Deol to direct his son?

Actor-filmmaker Sunny Deol, who is presently busy promoting his home production, 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2,' recently spoke about his 21-year-old son, Karan's Bollywood aspirations. Even for Sunny and his brother Bobby it was their father, actor Dharmendra who launched them, with Betaab and Barsaat, respectively.

Sunny Deol, who had earlier directed Dillagi, says, "I might direct my son as well... not now at least." Sunny wants to follow the family tradition. "We will launch him like I was launched, and how my brother was launched. I am basically giving him space because at the end of the day, it's his journey. Parents can only be there to give you a start, but after that, it's an individual journey."

Asked when he plans to launch his son, Sunny says, "May be in a year's time. I would give him a year. I want him to grasp as much knowledge as possible. To me, an actor has to be like a sponge."

Currently Karan is working as an assistant director for Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, a sequel to the 2011 hit comedy Yamla Pagla Deewana, which stars papa Sunny, Dharmendra and Bobby.

Seems like, B-town will have its new generation's macho man in a year's time.
