Stars' take on Afzal Guru's hanging

When the nation woke up to the news of terrorist Afzal Guru's hanging, Bollywood stars took to twitter to express their thoughts about the same. Afzal Guru was found guilty of being a part of the 2001 attacks on the Indian Parliament. He remained on death row for years and was finally hanged to death at Delhi's Tihar Jail on 9th February. Here's what different B-towners had to say about the hanging:

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan hailed the Indian law for the hanging by tweeting, "I am happy that Afsal has been executed according to the law. Everyone should abide by the law irrespective of whoever he/she is and guilty should be punished. I salute the death of Afsal Guru."

Punit Malhotra also saluted the Indian law by saying that this has reinforced the nation's confidence in law. He tweeted: Afzal gone... Finally!!! Happy to see that the country still has a LAW (sic)

Veteran comedy actor Paresh Rawal expressed his concern for the curfew imposed in the Jammu and Kashmir valley by tweeting: A terrorist Afzal Guru hanged in Delhi.Cable cut,Internet jammed & curfew in J&K.Some saying he was not given fair trial.Whats wrong with us. (sic)

Director-producer Kunal Kohli reacted to the hanging by writing: #afzalguru finally hanged ! Now can we please get the handlers n planners of 26/11 (sic)

Actress Saumya Tandon wrote: Finally# Afzal Guru is hanged. Here comes one more deserving candidate for hell. (sic)

Suhel Seth conveyed his views on the Indian government's decision by tweeting: So Afzal Guru hanged at 6.25am. Good. This Government has shown more courage than it's given credit for! And thank GoD, Pranab is decisive. (sic)
