About the film:

The film revolves around the life of Mumbaichi mulgi Sonali Dattaram Tandel (Rhea), a local broadband service provider. She is a hard working, dedicated and focused girl who stays with her father, connects people's life, touching their heart emotionally through her internet service.

In the cable internet turf war, this ordinary young girl decides to stand up against the monopoly with the entry of business tycoon Waghela (Anupam Kher). She puts her love, life and survival at stake for her business making sure her customers are happy and never offline.

The Waghela's group of companies, Shining, wants to take over small internet businesses in Mumbai. Some providers give up while adamant Sonali decides to fight back. With the help of her small group of three boys, local customers and childhood love Raghav (Ali) who is a politician's son, Sonali struggles her way out to keep up her business. How she manages to survive in this journey, forms the rest of the plot.

The concept of established corporate companies taking over and crushing down small businesses is very well written on paper but not onscreen. Well, Sonali Cable never goes offline but the story does!

What we liked:

> Raghav Juyal makes his perfect acting debut with this film. He has not missed a chance to flaunt his moves which is the USP of this dancing star.

> With Rhea's lack of acting or can say over acting, supporting actors Smita Jaykar and Anupam Kher's character stand out.

> Actor Ali Fazal puts up his best performance again after Bobby Jasoos. After Vidya, he plays Rhea's love interest.

> Fresh pairing of Rhea Chakraborty and Ali Fazal adds a plus point. In order to spice up things and make their chemistry look real between the two, the makers has taken the bold route with a few hot-n-steamy kissing scenes.

>Although the songs are not that popular among the audience, the romantic track Ek Mulaqat brings out the love in the film.

What we didn't like:

>The major let down in this film is none other than the hero of the film Sonali, Rhea Chakraborty.
Rhea fails to impress us with her forced marathi dialogues and loud bubbly character.

>The film lacks humor, fun and even entertainment.

> With the forced action, marathi slang and dance (you will even see Juyal dance when there is no music) we don't think this film is captivating.

>Ali Fazal's character and acting skills are wasted in this film.

>The story also fails to capture Mumbai's essence.

Verdict:

With Bang Bang and Haider still doing well, you can definitely give this film a miss!
