Actor Salman Khan, reaches Mumbai court, where he will be tried for culpable homicide over a 2002 hit-and-run case. If found guilty, he could face upto 10 years in jail!

The Mumbai Sessions Court had rejected Salman's review petition on June 24. As a result, Salman will now be tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder under Section 304 of IPC. If convicted, the actor may face up to ten years in jail.
The 47-year-old had been given one-month time to appear before the Sessions Court and face trial in the case, Sessions Judge UB Hejib had said in his ruling delivered in an open court on June 24.
Salman's Land Cruiser, allegedly driven by him, crushed a group of people sleeping on the pavement outside a bakery in suburban Bandra in the wee hours of September 28, 2002.
