Pakistan bans Akki and SRK's films

Actors Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan’s much awaited films Chennai Express and Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2 will not release in Pakistan. Despite their popularity among Pakistani fans, this year’s Eid releases in Pakistan won’t be a Bollywood affair.   The Pakistan distributors have decided to blackout both the films, since their filmmakers want their own films to get more attention. A source informs, "Theatres in Pakistan generate maximum revenue from Hindi films. So it is really sad that this time, they did a volte-face. UTV and Balaji tried reasoning with the filmmakers, but to no avail."   It will be a huge disappointment for the Pakistani fans that the movie would not release in their own country. According to reports, if these two films do not release in Pakistan during Eid, then it would leave the filmmakers with an estimated loss of about Rs 20 crore.
