John Abraham gears up for 'Force' sequel

For all those who loved John Abraham flaunting his muscles in 'Force', here's some good news for you. The fit and handsome actor, is all set to reunite with filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah for the sequel of their 2011 hit action movie 'Force'.

While Force 2011 was a remake of the Tamil movie 'Kaakha Kaakha', Force 2 will have an original plot, and will be directed by Abhinay Deo. The female lead has not been finalised yet but it'll definitely be a new face as Genelia D'Souza was shown dead in the first part of the film.

With a good run at the box office with films like Commando, Force and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah, is looking forward to reunite with John and give the audience a powerful sequel.
The film will go on floors around September 2015 and is slated to release in early 2016. Meanwhile, John's period drama, directed by Shoojit Sircar, has been delayed. Since the director is busy with the post-production of Piku, he has reportedly put the period drama based on an Indian footballer, starring John Abraham, on hold.

As per the reports, the producers had planned to start the film in the latter half of 2015; but since it is a drama based on Mohun Bagan's historical victory against the English football club in the year 1911, a lot of VFX work will be involved. Thus the film will be delayed.
