How Parinda forced Vidhu Vinod Chopra to cheat the audience

Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who launched the trailer of his film 'Broken Horses' today with Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, made an honest revelation in front of the media.  Talking about his earlier film Parinda which was marketed as 'The most powerful film ever made', a journalist asked him about the marketing strategy used for 'Broken Horses', that when Vidhu Vinod Chopra said, “In those days I was very insecure about Parinda. We didn't have much money and so even the bird in the logo was taken from a cigarette packet. I used the tagline 'The most powerful film ever made' only because in those days Amitabh Bachchan's films used to be powerful. That's why we lied, so that at least then people would come to see this 'most powerful film'. In fact the bird increased the curiosity in the minds of the people. They must have also thought that Big B would be a part of the film because no 'powerful' film is made without him. So it was all a facade!”  'Broken Horses' is the first Hollywood film that has been written, directed and produced by and Indian. The film is a thriller about bonds of brotherhood, laws of loyalty and futility of violence.  The film is all set to release on April 10.
