Hamara Bajaj gets green signal

Actor-producer John Abraham can heave a sigh of relief now. John’s next production venture Hamara Bajaj got into trouble recently, after its title clashed with that of an automobile brand.     It led to the producers facing legal actions from the automobile company, thus delaying the film further. But it seems John has finally found a solution, as now the film is all set to go on the floors.   On the controversy, director Shoojit Sircar says, “I found that whole issue ridiculous. How can someone copyright the surname Bajaj? Tomorrow someone will copyright my surname Sircar, does that mean I can’t use my own surname? The issue has been solved and our film is going on the floors by the end of this year.” Sircar also cleared the air regarding the film’s heroine, by stating that neither actors Parineeti Chopra nor Yami Gautam has been signed on for the film. “I am yet to complete the final draft of Hamara Bajaj. Only once that is done, I will be able to decide who fits the bill. Of course, I would love to work with Yami again, since she’s a brilliant actress, but for now, I’m not sure if she will be in the film. Only Ayushmann has been finalised as of now,” he reveals.
