Devgn loses out to 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'

The son of sardar aka Ajay Devgn is not a happy man. With the competition commission rejecting his complaint against YRF, ajay is now upset. He had filed a case against yrf for using their position in the film industry by asking exhibitors to book more number of screens for Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Ajay's Son of Sardar is slated to release on the same day as YRF's Jab Tak Hai Jaan. However the commission has rejected Ajay's plea stating that it had no merit to it. He has now approached the Appellate Tribunal. An ADF spokesperson said, ''We are shocked by the rejection of our legitimate case by the CCI. We have approached the Appellate Tribunal against the order.'' On the contrary last week, Yash Raj Films, had denied monopolization of exhibitors. In a bold statement to the media YRF stated; "For a company like ours, which has maintained the highest standards of work ethics and fair play, this has really come as a shock. We would like to clarify at the outset that we still haven't received any notice from the Commission and will suitably represent our stance if and when called upon to do so... A Yash Chopra/Shah Rukh Khan movie, coming after a gap of 8 long years, did not need any coercion for contractual screening." By Biscoot Editorial
