'Badmashiyaan' stuck in legal woes

The trailers of the upcoming film 'Badmashiyaan' has been put on hold as the Delhi High Court restrained the distribution and exhibition of the film. It seems that the movie is stuck in a huge legal trouble. A statement released by Multi Screen Media (MSM) and Kaleidoscope Entertainment Pvt Ltd has been made on copyright infringement issues.

The film has a young cast including the 'Filmistaan' actor Sharib Hashmi, 'MTV Roadies' contestant Suzanna Mukherjee and TV actor Karan Mehra. The Plaintiffs have complained that the film is a straight lift of Korean film 'Couples' and a yet-to-be released film 'Mango'. But the production house here, claims to have taken proper permission to make the film.
Entirely being shot in Goa, the film traces one night in the life of five youngsters, whose stories intertwine in an unlikely manner and changes their lives altogether.
We hope the legal issues don't affect the fate of Badmashiyaan and its actors.
