Amit Trivedi believes in technology

One amongst the National Award winner's bandwagon, Amit Trivedi has worked on music compositions for films like Dev D, Wake Up Sid, Udaan and Queen. According to Amit, in the current era of the technology driven world, it's easy for music composers to generate an outcome with variations. The advancement these days enable the music fraternity to explore a wider range of sound-effects through computers. It therefore reduces the input and efforts, to a considerable extent.
In an interview once, Amit shared his view point on how technology keeps widening scope for the musicians at regular intervals, and also spoke about how the new software's work like a helping hand for the music makers, while exploring new ideas. Trivedi, who has recently composed the song Teriyaan Tu Jaane for MTV Coke Studio season four, says that the music composed via a computer and tech gadgets, is trending these days.
No matter the rap music, hip-hop beats and item numbers are gaining tremendous importance in the industry, the Indian classical music will always be part of the country's core melody. Amit said, "Classical music cannot deplete from Indian industry. It's just that there are new trends coming up. People are widening their choices to new genres. But classical music, which is the root of India, will never get sidelined."
He will now be seen composing music for films like Bombay Velvet, Guddu Rangeela, Shandar, Fitoor and Udta Punjab.
