Aishwarya unveils award trophy

Bollywood's blue eyed beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan unveiled the new trophy of Filmfare Awards on Wednesday. The new trophy comes with a gold base to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema.

Aishwarya, incidentally is not nomintated in any category this year.

At the press conference the actress said, "I am feeling very special as this is going to be very different. For the first time, I don't have any nominations because I didn't have any releases last year because of the special reason of having Aaradhya."

The Actress gave birth to Aaradhya on November 2011 said, "Despite having no nominations, I am officially taking home the black lady (Filmfare trophy). I have had the privilege of being nominated throughout the career."
On this occasion she got a wee bit nostalgic and recalled the moments of her first Filmfare award.
Aishwarya said, "When I got the first trophy, I truly felt special. I got it for the film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. I got it at a very early age and it was very prestigious. For me, holding the black lady is equivalent to holding an Oscar."

When asked about her comeback she said, "I cannot give you an exact date. There is no guarantee in  creative field. Whenever I come on board for any film, you all will get to know."

The 58th Idea Filmfare awards will be held Jan 20 at YRF Studios.
